The 3rd Nanchong Puppetry Art Week has been successfully held from July 21st to 25th in Nanchong China. This event is jointly organized by UNIMA Asia-Pacific Commission, Provincial Department of Cultural and Tourism in Sichuan, Nanchong Municipal Government.
20 puppetry theatres from different countries and regions virtually or physically participated in the festival including Australia, Croatia, Egypt, Iran, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Philippines, Russia, Dagestan（Russia）, Serbia, Spain, Turkey, UK, USA, Portugal, Nepal, Indonesia, China.
There were performance showcases both online and on site, as well as a special online presentation with a purpose on revitalizing an endangered traditional puppetry art form in Nepal.
